Wednesday nights are back at Oranjezicht City Farm Market

After a winter pause, the midweek night market at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market returns for the season.

The Oranjezicht City Farm Market trades right through the year, but its Wednesday Night Market takes a break over the coldest stretch of winter. As of August, the lights are back on.

If you haven’t been to the midweek edition, it has its own particular pull. The stalls turn to dinner, there’s local wine by the glass, and a DJ plays as the light fades over Granger Bay. It’s less a shop, more somewhere to land after work with friends, before the week tips into the weekend.

You’ll still find the farm-fresh produce, artisanal food and local goods the market is known for, now with the after-dark food-and-wine crowd alongside.

The Saturday and Sunday morning markets carry on as always, so the weekend routine doesn’t change. The return of Wednesdays just adds one more reason to make the trip to the Waterfront.
