The Western Province Prep School Christmas Market is an exciting annual market held in a large marquee with over 80 vendors. This is a great opportunity to support local and get ahead with your Christmas shopping.  This popular event offers a wide variety of stalls including clothing, jewellery, household and interior goods, children’s toys, Christmas decor and much much more.  There will also be delicious food, coffee vendors, a tea garden and live music on site.  Entrance is free. The Gordonsbaai Kersmark is an annual Christmas Market that will be held from 22 November – 7 December 2024 in picturesque Gordon’s Bay. Visitors to the market will not only find amazing crafts, gifts, food, jewellery, toys, stationery and homeware, but also an incredible atmosphere! The market showcases a wide variety of exhibitors from all over the country with the most attractive products, something for everyone and more.

The Rondebosch Potters Market is a ceramics market held twice a year at Rondebosch Park (March and November). The market is organised by Ceramics SA, and features ceramics of all sorts, created by potters from around the Western Cape. It’s great fun to visit, with pottery of all shapes, sorts and sizes, made by both professional and hobbyist potters. There are always great bargains to be had, especially if you get there early!

The Pinelands Craft & Gift Fair takes place every December in the Kent Hall at Pinelands High School. This cashless market lends a wonderful opportunity for locals as well as visitors to do their Christmas and end of year gift shopping in a relaxed, safe and friendly environment.

Every year, the Franschhoek Village Market hosts a special 3-day Christmas Market. This is the place where locals and hundreds of holiday makers spend a day under the historic oak trees located in the old church gardens, enjoying affordable artisan foods paired with the best wines from the Franschhoek surroundings and shopping for some handcrafted goods.
