On from 13-15 October 2023 in charming McGregor, this groundbreaking event is set to be an unforgettable celebration of the LGBTQAI+ community and their allies through film, music, art, and a myriad of engaging experiences.
Dedicated to fostering an all-embracing and encouraging atmosphere, the LOVE LIFE! Festival has been curated to emphasise the importance of representation and the influential role of creative expression in driving societal change, endorsing acceptance, and nurturing normalisation.
The festival will offer an exceptional lineup, with performances by a constellation of acclaimed artists, including, popular pianist Rocco De Villiers, comedian Jaxx Justice, Cathy Spesific, Luna Paige and the Zolani Youth Choir, Margarets Daughter, Meg Van Wyk, The Kelkasso Project and Pichi Keane.
The visual art installations will be an integral part of the festival, showcasing the diverse perspectives of artists including Annalien van der Colff, Chris van Niekerk, Joni-Leigh Doran and many more. Their creations will speak to the heart of the Love Life Festival experience and inspire connection and conversation between festival-goers.
Attendees can also explore the enchanting Village Market, participate in a lively Fun Run, and indulge in a harmonious blend of both paid and free events that promise to keep spirits high throughout the festival. Film enthusiasts can look forward to captivating screenings and engaging Q&A sessions. Additionally, the festival will offer an array of workshops, interactive art classes, and enlightening discussions focused on supporting LGBTQAI+ youth and discovering one’s tribe.
