Fish Hoek High School is thrilled to announce Cape Town Yarn Festival 2024! On from 23-24 March 2024 in Fish Hoek, this festival brings together the finest natural yarn establishments in South Africa. It’s time to celebrate yarnie culture with the best the South African yarn industry has to offer.
Visitors can browse an expertly curated selection of natural yarn businesses, engage with other yarn enthusiasts and take part in a series of exciting workshops that cover a range of techniques – everything from Amigurumi to felting (you can even learn how to make your own yarn!).
In between browsing, meet other passionate yarnies – wear your favourite hand-made garments/accessories and see what other festival goers have made! There will also be delicious food vendors on site to keep you fuelled for the day.
