Boschendal’s Friday Night Market Returns for a New Season
The Boschendal Friday Night Market is back on the Werf from Friday 4 September 2026, running every Friday from 5pm to 9pm through to the end of the season.
This year brings one real change worth knowing about: adult entry is now R50, which includes a Boschendal stemless wine glass to use through the evening and take home afterwards. Under-18s still get in free, though each child needs their own reserved ticket, limited to four free tickets per email address.
Tickets are booked through Quicket and released weekly, on the Monday of the same week as the market. Demand is high, so early bookers stand the best chance. Walk-ins are welcome but limited by capacity on the night.
Expect live music, Boschendal’s wines and a solid food line-up: charcuterie, cheese and oyster platters, boerie rolls, wood-fired pizzas and enough going on to keep kids entertained. The Werf and Deli restaurants and the Farm Shop stay open until 9pm, for anyone wanting to make more of the evening.
A few practical notes before heading out: the farm is cashless, so bring a card rather than cash, and outside food and drink aren’t allowed through the gate. Pack something warm and bring a blanket or folding chair if you can. Bean bags are provided but limited, and pillows and back-rest chairs are available to rent on the night, first come, first served. Leashed pets are welcome.
