About This Market

Every Saturday, in most weathers, a bunch of hardy McGregorites sets up their stands in the space across the road from the NG Kerk and behind the church hall for the McGregor Saturday Morning Market.

There, you’ll find Janet’s famous chicken pies, SY’s rosti breakfast as well as Farmer Judy’s fresh vegetables. Then, you’ll find Fabulous Fudge, hand-spun knitting yarn, curated pre-loved garments, and Fiona’s famous chicken liver pâté and marmalades, as well as Trish and Oona’s pretty pottery. The piéce de resistance are Barbie and Bertus’s Brakkie Happies (dog treats) which, by all accounts, are totally addictive.
