    An annual festive market in the Paarl Town Hall, with makers travelling in from as far as Thabazimbi, Bethlehem, George and Gauteng. Stalls carry leather goods, silver jewellery, pearls, needlework and local treats like mosbolletjies and artisan cheeses. A live two-piece band plays from 5pm on weekday afternoons.

    Simondium Festive & Vintage Market

    A five-day festive and vintage market at Simondium Country Lodge, set in the Boland between Paarl and Franschhoek. Alongside the usual festive stalls, this one leans into vintage finds and South African heritage, which gives it a different character to the handmade-gift markets. The historic lodge setting suits the vintage thread.
