Get ready for a Halloween weekend of markets, live music, wine tastings and good food at The Wild Fig Restaurant in Mowbray, Cape Town!

The festivities kick off on Friday evening with a relaxed Night Market, followed by Saturday’s Haunted Harvest Market and Wicked Wine Festival. There’s plenty to enjoy, from browsing local stalls and sampling South African wines to Halloween treats and family-friendly entertainment.

🌙 Friday 30 October: Night Market & Live Music

6pm-9pm | Free Entry

Ease into the weekend with an outdoor mini market under the lights. Browse local stalls, enjoy live music, brandy tastings and Halloween cocktail specials and settle in for a relaxed evening with good food and drinks.

🎃 Saturday 31 October: Haunted Harvest Market

10am-3pm | Free Entry

The Great Lawn transforms into a Halloween-themed market with local traders, delicious food and plenty of activities for the family.

Halloween costumes are encouraged, so dress up and join the fun!

🍷 Saturday 31 October: Wicked Wine Festival

12pm-4pm | R150 per person

Running alongside the market, the Wicked Wine Festival brings together a selection of South African wines for an afternoon of tasting and socialising.

Sample wines from estates including Vergenoegd, Blacksmith Wines and Reyneke Organic Wines, meet the people behind the bottles and enjoy the relaxed country atmosphere.

Round off Halloween weekend with a leisurely Sunday roast at The Wild Fig Restaurant.
