Now in its fourth year, the Ladismith Klein Karoo Jeugmark (Youth Market) is a charming community market created especially for young entrepreneurs aged 21 and under. Set in the heart of the Klein Karoo, this one-day event showcases an impressive range of handmade goods and creative products by talented local youth.
Expect to find everything from goat’s milk soap, leather jewellery, rope baskets, and wildlife cards, to crochet creatures, adorable hand-crafted horses, handsewn clothing, woodwork, planters, bird feeders, and painted rock art.
Tuck into Cape Malay dishes, homemade biscuits, toffee apples, and other treats—perfect alongside a cappuccino, chai, or a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
