Let’s Kuier@TheCastle!
Kuier@TheCastle invites visitors to enjoy a celebration of art, culture, community, and history on Saturday, 29 March 2025, from 10am-2pm.
The market features a diverse range of artisans showcasing handcrafted homeware, fashion, art, and accessories in a scenic outdoor setting. A variety of local food and drinks will be available, accompanied by live music.
Families are welcome to explore The Creative Corner, offering interactive workshops throughout the day — including candle-making, painting, crocheting, flamenco dancing, and the ever-popular drumming circles.
CDI x Kuier x DCAS
This month’s event will introduce a host of new vendors from across the Western Cape, supported by the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS). As part of the Craft and Design Institute’s (CDI) Market Readiness Project, 30 craft producers from Worcester, Hermanus, and Swellendam will showcase their unique creations in a special pop-up. This project has provided invaluable support to these artisans over the past few months, helping them bring their products to a wider audience.
Affordable and Accessible for All
Kuier@TheCastle remains an affordable, family-friendly outing. Visitors can also explore the Castle of Good Hope’s museums and exhibitions — a journey into the country’s rich history.
