29 Huguenot Road, Franschhoek

The Franschhoek Village Market is a family-friendly quality food and craft market held every Saturday under the historic oak trees in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley.

The market was closed during strict lockdown, but has now reopened (as of 8 August 2020) with standard COVID-19 safety protocols in place.

With Locals battling it out on the boules court, kids enjoying themselves at the play area and some soulful live music in the background… a day cannot be any more perfect. Bring along your furry friends on a leash and embrace all of these together.

The market offer a selection of fresh produce, delicatessen, craft beers, coffee brewers and many other treats. Do some shopping for unique crafts, art, vintage clothing and antiques.

On the first Saturday of each month you will be lucky to find some of the top local chefs at the market, who set up a shop on an occasional basis.

The market is all about bringing locals and tourists together while ploughing back into the community.
