De Werf Market is a popular family-focused food market located at De Werf, a farmstall and restaurant in the Platteland (just 20 minutes from Century City towards Malmesbury). This indoor and tented food market offers visitors a fun day out, with plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
What you’ll find there:
- Indoor Food Market with great variety: coffee, burgers, pork ribs, pizza, calamari, roosterkoek, shawarma, Philly cheese steak, homemade ice cream, bubble tea, pancakes, and more.

De Werf Market is hosting a weekend full of Easter fun for the whole family! From live music and food stalls to kids’ activities and exciting competitions, there’s something for everyone.
Saturday, 19 April features the Cape Braaifest with themed stalls, braai-inspired food challenges, and plenty of entertainment.
Monday, 21 April is all about the kids, with go-karts, pony rides, face painting, a kids’ entrepreneurs market, and an Easter Bunny appearance – plus a large play area with child minders.
