About This Market

The annual Cape Gift Market takes place in November/December at the Sea Point Civic Centre in Cape Town. It’s the perfect place to get some Christmas shopping done! Browse beautiful products made by over 200 hand-picked crafters from across the country – everything from craft, clothing, garden and decor items to fruit cakes and preserves.

Look out for the best Fruit Cakes (Christmas cakes), Rusks, Biltong and Droewors, Granny’s style Hertzoggies, plus much more in the Food Hall. Why not let your home smell and look divine with beautiful home decor and fragrances? There will also be jewellery, stunning clothes and an array of kiddies stuff as well as for the 4-paw kiddo’s. If you’re shopping for men’s items, you’ll find special braai utensils, natural firelighters and plenty more.

Visit and support the amazing coffee shop  (Thrive) which will offer cold and hot drinks and some amazing pastries to eat in an inviting and relaxing space (the ideal place to park the hubby while wifey gets the Christmas shopping done!)
