The organisers are passionate about supporting and showcasing local small businesses, artists, and crafts within the community. With over 6,500 products on offer, visitors are sure to find something special for a loved one, friend, or teacher. The market features a wide selection of gifts ranging from small to large, as well as home décor, delicious treats, children’s toys, and more. After shopping, guests can unwind with a coffee or enjoy a tasty lunch in the outdoor food area.
Children can look forward to a dedicated play zone featuring soft play, jumping castles, inflatables, and colouring stations. On the 13th, 16th, and 20th, little ones can enjoy a magical meet-and-greet with Santa, post their Christmas letters, take photos, and even receive a sweet treat.
Although Cape Town may not have snow, South Market captures the true spirit of Christmas. Everyone is welcome to join in this magical market experience for families and friends.
