Ceramics Western Cape’s popular Rondebosch Potters’ Market is relocating to Alphen Common in Constantia, where it will run in partnership with Alphen Market over two days – 28 and 29 March 2026.
The move follows changes to trader limits and permit requirements at Rondebosch Park, the market’s home for several decades. Rather than scale back, the organisers have opted to expand, with the new venue allowing a larger number of ceramic artists to participate.
Visitors can expect a wide selection of handmade functional and decorative ceramics from potters across the Western Cape, available to purchase directly from the makers. The market takes place in an outdoor setting with free parking, and is pet-friendly and accessible. Food and drink will also be available on site.
