The Gift Fair (previously the Constantia Gift Fair) at The Baxter Theatre is a lifestyle event full of inspirational ideas and hand-picked innovative products – a celebration of gifts with a difference. There are gorgeous home and garden décor items, stunning fashion for young & old, and endless must-have gifts. The deli section is an extravaganza of delicious and exotic food-gifts.

The fair boasts an incredible collection of over 170 of South Africa’s most creative talents in one amazing venue, showcasing everything from fashion to ceramics, home décor, jewellery, skincare, children’s toys & clothing to incredible food & deli deliciousness!

Meet family & friends under the incredible trees in the Baxter gardens and enjoy delicious food, craft beers, Gin on Tap & award winning wines from the Constantia Wine Route whilst soaking up the magical atmosphere. There is late night trading and live music on Friday evening which is the perfect place to meet up with friends after work. Live music in the gardens continues into the weekend.

  • 3 November (Wed): 9am to 5pm
  • 4 November (Thurs): 9am to 5pm
  • 5 November (Fri): 9am to 8pm (Retail Trading & Live Music), Food and Wine Marquee open till 9pm.
  • 6 & 7 November (Sat & Sun): 9am to 5pm (Live Music)

ENTRANCE FEE:
Adults R30.00, Under 18’s no charge
(portion donated to SARDA – South African Riding for the Disabled Association)

      The market is primarily a gift market, so I guess their focus was on craft and goods, rather than food. We thought there was probably enough food, but that unless you wanted a big meal you were a bit stuck (ie not many snack options, mostly big portions). And yes, vegetarians so often have it a bit rough – I’ll bet you guys must be tired of always having to eat salad!
