The GREEN FAIRE is one of Cape Town’s most popular, sustainable, annual events. As it’s a community gathering, families and friends from Hout Bay and the surrounding areas gather to connect, socialise, explore the green lifestyle options available.

There is something for everyone – from kids edu-tainment to inspiring talks for adults, healthy vegetarian/vegan food and the wonderful displays of green products, services, inventions, fair trade goods, locally made clothing, organic produce and more….

This year, organisers are TEDx CT to bring visitors a greater range of inspiring speakers on current local and global issues. Get the lowdown on the eco friendly technologies and services, browse a variety of stalls selling healthy food, organic seedlings and more, and enjoy live music (Ward 10) in the afternoon.

The highlight of this family event is the Planet Warrior Children’s Festival featuring an Eco-Fashion Show, a Musical Talent Contest and a Recycle Market.

Did you know? This unique green expo is fully powered by Solar and Wind energy, and is a zero waste event. Free filtered water raises awareness of the impact of plastic bottles on our environment, while Compost, Recycle and Landfill bins on site encourage and inform visitors on how to best separate waste.

Make a day of it! Bring friends and family and spend a great day in beautiful Hout Bay on the Kronendal Primary field on Sunday 6 November 2016,from 10am-5pm.
