Good Company Market

1 Paddock Avenue, Gardens, Cape Town
Weekly on Sundays. 10am-3.30pm (weather-permitting)

Organic produce, fresh homemade food, entertainment, and a whole lot of family fun.

The Company’s Garden is one of Cape Town’s most beloved heritage sites – and it just happens to be the venue of one of the city’s favourite family markets.

Located in the beautiful Paddocks Area of the Company’s Gardens next to the National Gallery, the shady space under ancient oak trees provides the perfect spot for a Sunday market.

Food, craft and entertainment all combine at the Good Company Market. Nestled between the historic Iziko South African Museum and South African National Gallery, and with spectacular views of Table Mountain, the Good Company Market is the perfect place to spend the day taking in the outdoors and enjoying a relaxing Sunday with the family.

Here you’ll find everything from trendy food trucks boasting a range of delicious foods, organic veg stalls, books, handmade crafts, recycled and up-cycled crafts to handmade jewelry stalls and a fully licensed bar with great craft beer. And that’s not to mention the host of activities that change weekly, from local musicians, salsa dancing, soup kitchens, sporting activities and happy vibes all laid out in the delightful grounds of Cape Town’s Company’s Garden.

The market also focuses on giving back to the community by working with NGO’s and NPO’s and working with and uplifting traders from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

Bring the kids along – the market has a dedicated and secure kids corner offering a host of activities they can take part in, including guided pony rides, face painters, jumping castles and ample lawn space to play in.

And it’s dog-friendly, too!
