The Somerset West Festival of Lights will take place from Wednesday 2 December to Saturday 5 December 2015, every evening from 19.00 to 22.30 in Main Road (between Church Street/Oudehuis Street and Oak Street) and Victoria Street (between Main Road and Andries Pretorius Street), Somerset West.
The Vendors will provide freshly prepared food to eat on the spot or to take home and the public will be able to do their Xmas shopping from all the local foodies, crafters/artists while enjoying a lazy and relaxed evening.
Entrance to the event venue will only be on foot.
There will be a medical point, security point, doggie water point, information kiosk, lost/found kiosk in Victoria Street just off Main Road. People wanting to bring their dogs along to the event are most welcome but must bring along a poop scoop.
Temporary ablution facilities will be erected at the Library in Libri Lane and a security guard will guard it during daytime to prevent damage and vandalism.
This Somerset West Festival of Lights are being organised by the Community for the Community – all revenue generated will go back to the community via Rotary and Lion community projects.
