Many were saddened to hear that this year’s Kirstenbosch Plant Fair was first postponed, and then cancelled. But, if you were hoping to find some indigenous plants there for your garden there is some great news: some of the plants that would have been on sale at the fair will now be at the Kirstenbosch Craft Market this weekend!

Cape Flats LIFE (Local Indigenous Fynbos Exchange), the Kirstenbosch Wholesale Nursery and the Goldfields Environmental Education Centre’s charity stall will be at the market, offering plenty of locally indigenous Cape Town lowland fynbos plants for sale – everything from waterwise to wetland to edible and aromatic species – all at very affordable prices.

Dates & Times: Sunday 30 April 2017. 9am-3pm.
Location: Stone Cottage Grounds. Corner Kirstenbosch and Rhodes Drives, Newlands.
Who to contact:  Jimmy  – 074 333 2170 (general enquiries). Or email for applications and trading enquiries.
