Earth Fair Market is excited to announce that they will be opening a Friday Night Food Market, starting Friday 6 November 2020 and on every Friday going forward.

The new evening market will be open from 4pm to 10pm, making it the perfect place for welcoming the weekend in with some after-work drinks. There will be live music every Friday from 6pm to 9pm, supporting talented local artists and creating a festive vibe.

Visitors will be able to choose from 12 craft taps, with amazing local brands like Jack Black, Stellenbrau, Camelthorn, Lagunitas, Soweto, Vuilhond, Everson’s and Drifter.

November drinks specials!
Take advantage of their opening month specials, with a R60 DBL brandy/spiced rum special and a R70 DBL gin special. Plus, they will also be running a 2 x 500ml beer special for November (Fridays).

And then there’s the food… Choose from a great selection – with Mexican, Indian, Thai, Japanese, burgers, jaffles, spring rolls, ribs, wings, jalapeño poppers, dim sum, ice cream, brownies and many more.

There will also be a variety of craft traders selling clothing, jewellery, CBD products and more.

The market has spacious seating in place, inside and outside (bedouin tent).

The market follows all government protocols:

  • Everyone that enters temperature gets taken, details get written down via a sign-in sheet and hands gets sanitised.
  • Masks are compulsory while walking around. Masks may be removed while eating and/or drinking. Tables get sanitised frequently. All table inside have sanitiser bottles available. Hand wash and sanitisers are also available in the bathrooms.
  • All traders have their masks on and also get screened, sanitised and temperatures are taken before entering. All traders have sanitiser available on their tables. Bar staff and traders sanitise their hand before and after each customer and when working with money/card machines.
  • The market is a 20% naturally ventilated venue with natural airflow throughout. This makes it a lot safer than shopping malls. They also have outside seating under the big bedouin tent.
