Christmas in Winter is an annual event held in June/July in Tulbagh. This year’s event will be held over the weekend of 24-25 June 2023 and features a variety of fun Christmas-like activities.
Marvel at the array of Christmas trimmings and glittering lights, browse through the arts, crafts, art galleries and quaint shops. Enjoy cheese, and olive tastings. Jumping castle, face painting, pony rides, tractor trips are just some of the activities that will keep the little ones entertained. A scenic tractor trip up the historic Oudekloof Pass has interesting stops along the way. Enjoy a scenic outride on horseback and experience the beauty and tranquility of nature or go on a Zipslide adventure further down the Valley.
Join the winemakers and their staff for wine tastings, cellar tours and a variety of activities which will be on offer. Enjoy roaring log fires, glittering Christmas trees, winter warmer lunches and traditional Christmas fare and dinners at our world-class restaurants and coffee shops. The Winterland Blues Festival has also become a firm favourite and will be held at The Bike Forge!

Visit Made in Tulbagh during the Christmas in Winter Festival to discover a spectacular collection of locally handcrafted products.
