The first annual Somerset West Christmas Market is a family-friendly, community-focused event set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Hottentots Holland mountains at the picturesque Generation School grounds. Visitors of all ages are invited to come and enjoy festive shopping, delicious food, a beer garden and live entertainment.
Holiday Gift Market
The indoor gift market will host dozens of vendors, bringing together local artisans, craftsmen, and retailers offering a wide array of unique gifts, handmade crafts, artisanal food items, and one-of-a-kind Christmas decorations. It’s an opportunity to support local businesses while enjoying the spirit of Christmas in a lively setting.
Kids Zone
There will be an access-controlled kids drop-off zone run by local business, Mess Makers. Parents can drop their kids off with the highly capable team and enjoy some shopping while the kids enjoy games, interactive workshops and specialized messy play!
Outdoor entertainment
Outside in the courtyard, the Christmas market’s food court and beer garden will provide a magical setting filled with twinkling lights, live music and festive cheer!

A festive culinary delight, bustling with the sights, smells, and tastes of the holiday season. Nestled among twinkling lights and festive decorations, stalls will offer a tempting array of seasonal treats. Amidst the cheerful chatter and music, the food court will be a hub of warmth and joy, inviting visitors to indulge in the spirit of Christmas. A beer garden and Happy Sak chill out zone will complete the vibe.
