The popular Stellenbosch Fresh Goods Market will be hosting a Christmas Night Market on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December 2011. The Christmas-themed market starts at 5pm on the Friday evening (until 10pm), spilling over to Saturday 3rd December (9am-2pm).

Last year saw tables in the vineyard, candlelight, carols, real Christmas trees from the Elgin valley, crafted wooden décor items, German foods, Christmas Cakes and so much more.

This year organisers are adding a full designer clothing and accessory boutique for the ladies in their “efforts in creating an exclusive shopping experience”. Designer goods and gifts for all age groups and budgets, coupled with all things possibly associated with an European styled Christmas.

Slowfood enthusiasts will find their favourite small producers, wine merchants, micro-breweries and various cuisines on offer for the whole family to enjoy. A hand-picked selection of authentic handmade quality items will fill a boutique of authentic antiques, high end fashion, accessories, crafts and design.

Bring a picnic blanket and come laze under the stars whilst the children enjoy ample space to run and play whilst you enjoy the light sounds of Christmas music. For the theatre lovers come enjoy the free line up of music at the Oude Libertas Amphitheatre showcasing Sima, Men of Praise, Ivan Siegelaar, Ousus, Shannon Hope and Elzahn Ringquest.
