New Market: Village Market at the Cape Quarter

A new market is launching in mid-November at the Cape Quarter in Green Point.

The Village Market @ Cape Quarter is a unique, European Lifestyle Market that supports local goods and produce, all the while striving to be as organic and environmentally friendly as possible. The Village Market is a centrally located venue with an alfresco vibe – enhanced by an abundance of retail, restaurants and specialty services with secure underground parking.

The market will include:

  • European-style fruit, vegetable and flower Market
  • Specialty food market: a smorgasbord of fresh, organic food. Choices include; fish, specialty sausages, homemade pies, farm cheeses, biltong, pates, organic nuts and grains, artisan breads as well as many other products from small producers
  • Bar area – Sporting events can be watched
  • Coffee traders
  • Second hand books
  • Home baked goods and preserves
  • Décor
  • Clothing
  • Alternative products: homeopathic, herbalist area
  • Kiddy Corner/Children’s Entertainment
  • Wine tasting

Launch date: Sunday 13 November 2011 – 10am.
Trading dates:  Sundays from 10am – 3pm.
